FORM Ghana Ltd. is a forest plantation management company based in Central Ghana (Kumasi). The firm was established in 2007 and provides services in the field of reforestation and plantation management. With financial input of the EVD, a high quality model nursery and pilot plantations are established 100 km North of Kumasi. FORM Ghana implements its activities according to high standards for sustainable forest management. This is checked by an independant auditing organisation every year. In 2010 the FSC Certificate for sustainable forest management of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has been awarded to FORM Ghana. There is an increasing need for timber from sustainable sources and the transformation of degraded land into well managed forest plantations is a sound solution. Since world demand for certified wood products is growing fast, forestry is an increasingly interesting investment opportunity. FORM Ghana wishes to contribute to large scale reforestation of degraded forest areas in Ghana and offers excellent investment opportunities in forest plantations.
Consulting Panel FORM Ghana
The aim of this Panel is to provide advice to the management and shareholders of FORM Ghana as far as it concerns the main strategy and further short and long term development of the company.
