FORM Ghana consortium members

FORM Ghana is a consortium of three companies: FORM International, Penta ltd. and Wienco Ghana ltd.
The Dutch Agency for International Business and Cooperation (EVD) is an important partner financier of FORM Ghana (50% share).

   FORM International

FORM International was established in 1992 as FORM Ecology Consultants B.V., an affiliate of Houthandel G. Wijma & Zonen B.V. FORM International became independent in 2005.

FORM works for governments, NGO's, international organisations and private companies, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Since 2004 the company is ISO 9001 certified.

FORM has nine staff members, six of which are experts with years of international experience in the field of forest certification, implementation of sustainable forest management and plantation management. FORM also has a network of associated experts with various technical specialties and regional experience.

 Wienco Ghana Ltd.

Wienco® (Ghana) Limited established in 1979 is a joint venture Ghana-Dutch Company involved in businesses in the Agricultural sector. The core business of the company is import and distribution of fertilisers and other agricultural inputs. The firm is also specialised in yield improvements for Cacoa (Cocoa Abrabopa Association) and Maïs (Industrial Maïs Project). The name Wienco® is synonymous with fertilisers and agricultural improvement in Ghana, both organic as well as in-organic.

The company has offices in Accra, Tamale and Tema, which serve as the distribution outlets for all the products to the various key wholesalers nation wide.

Penta Hotel

Penta Ltd. is a well known and popular hotel located in Accra. The founder of Penta ltd. is an experienced Banker and is respected in the Ghanaian business society. Penta ltd. is shareholder of FORM Ghana.

 Agency for International Business and Cooperation

The Agency for International Business and Cooperation (EVD) is part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Its mission is to promote and encourage international business and cooperation.

As a State agency and a partner to businesses and public-sector organisations, the EVD aims to help Dutch entrepreneurs to achieve success in their international operations. The EVD provides information about foreign markets, governments and trade and industry.

The EVD is the centre of operations for all international business and cooperation affairs dealt with at the Netherlands' Embassies, Consulates and Netherlands' Business Support Offices. The EVD helps the Dutch economic network to carry out its economic and trade duties as efficiently as possible.
